Guitar Wine Red Question selling value of my guitar????
im wondering wat would be a good asking value for my wine red epiphone les paul special II.. its like brand new..also has chrome pickup covers.. thanks? im thinking of selling it to guitar center but im not sure.. i know i called they said 45$ max..wtf??
I wouldn't sell it to guitar center. They won't give you much at all because they want to make a profit when they sell it again. Your best bet is craigslist or something similar to that. Seeing how I can buy a brand new one for $160 right now I wouldn't give more than $100 for a used one. Even one in mint condition. That's probably gonna' be top dollar. I would advertise it for $100 or best offer and if someone offered me $75 I would consider it. Cheaper , beginner guitars like that don't hold much resale value. The minute you buy it, it drops at least 50% so $100 would be great.

The only problem is that i need a new pickguard. So does anyone know where i can find a dual humbucker pickguard for a Stratocaster. The body is wine red so ill need something that will look good with that.

Just look around for what you need. I think white or ivory would look good with that.
