How do you heal your lips overnight?

For some reason my lips like to chap up about once a week or every two weeks. I think its because of not putting any chapstick on from when I go outside and stuff. Is there a way to cure them quickly overnight?
I have chapstick, but its about 2 years old lol, maybe 5 or more lol...
But I also have this other one called Blistex-medicated balm.

Just wondering if there is a remedy to make your lips look nice again overnight.
Thank you!

Just a detail
I drink a lot of water. About 8 cups a day, sometimes more.

I don't think it can heal overnight. However, you can drastically make them better. DON'T EVER LICK YOUR LIPS. Saliva tends to create a thick layer over the lips and causes them to chap once its dried. Chapstick probably wont stay on while you sleep unless you are still the entire night. The best thing is to use a medicated lip balm regularly. And AVOID LICKING YOUR LIPS! If you are without lip balm use water and then immediately dry them. NEVER LICK! NEVER!

When you wax your upper lip, has anyone ever asked you to do this?

I usually wax my upper lip, and I recently heard from someone that you can get a better lip wax if you pucker your lips, or bite your top lip (especially if you have full lips). Has anyone does this? Does it increase the chance of getting irritation since the skin will be extra taut? Thanks.

I haven't ever done either of those two things, however, in all waxing kits, it suggests that you keep your lips taut to reduce irritation and ingrown hairs. I can't imagine that doing those things would dramatically increase the effectiveness of your wax, nor do anything harmful. I just started waxing my lip and I can't believe the results! I tried several waxing kits which did not work in the least bit, but finally I found one that works! It's a Sally Hansen kit that you heat up in the microwave for about 1 min 45 sec (even though it suggests no longer than 1 min). The kit is specifically designed for course hair, however, it works for fine hair just as well. (That is what I have, but mine is extremely dark.) Hope this helps!
