is this a good step up bass from a beginner?
this bass guitar caught my eye and has good reviews and was wondering what y'all thought about it. my family has had a start up bass and I was wanting a newer and better one.... so what do y'all think?

Yes, that's a pretty good mid-ranged bass. The SRX basses share the same neck as Ibanez's SR series, which are very slim and comfortable. You could also check out an Ibanez SR400 or SR500 for approximately the same price.
I'd highly recommend that you try and play it first before you buy it, but I can't think of any reason you would regret this purchase, other than personal preference.

can i use my crate fxt 65 guitar amp for my bass guitar?

has anyone tried doing this?. im just afraid if i turn it up too loud it would damage it. cuz im going to use it with my friend and his drumset so it needs to be up there (volume). any thoughts?
dont mix guitar and bass amps these will damge your amp i tried once
